Faith Lutheran and First English Lutheran in Appleton, together with ministry partners from all over the Fox River Valley (from Green Bay to Neenah) are pulling together 2,500 volunteers for 15 two-hour shifts to pack 500,000 meals for Feed My Starving Children! That’s half a million meals in 6 days, July 16-21. Three packing sites, dozens of partners, and the help of the Appleton School District.
We could use your help in filling the volunteer spots; about 700 of them remain. You and your family, your staff, friends, neighbors … anyone over 5 years old can participate. And I promise, it really is fun and rewarding; and the time will go by very quickly. You can make a huge impact in the two hours you pack. With the other volunteers in your shift, you can feed dozens and dozens of kids for an entire year.
Visit the Fox Cities MobilePack website to register: www.MobilePack.org. Simply click on “Donate & Volunteer.”

· “Second Half Ministry Conferences” that I lead for denominations, regions/districts, churches and conferences around the country. A list of seminars is on my website: www.agingsuccessfullytoday.com Last month I was privileged to be the key presenter at the aging conference at Johns Hopkins University and again for the ninth year led three sessions at the Moody Pastors’ Conference. I’m now lining up dates for 2013. My latest book, Aging Successfully has just been released and is endorsed by Dr. Paul Nyquist, Dr. Gary McIntosh and Dr. Gene Getz.
I will deeply appreciate it if you pass this information on to pastoral leadership.
